Labor Day
Monday, September 7, 2015

Race begins at 9:30 am
Walpole High School

Proceeds to benefit the
Walpole High School Boys & Girls Cross Country, Winter Track and Spring Track Teams

For our 42nd Annual Labor Day Road Race, the Youth Mile will kick off the day at 9:30 am.

The 5K race begins promptly at 10:00 am and will be followed by the 10K race once the starting line clears from the 5K.

Due to the paving in the center of Walpole, the course will be altered this year, but will return next year.

Tables will open for registration at 8:30 am.

This is the 42nd year for the race, making it one of the oldest in the area and a wonderful Walpole tradition! We expect over 700 participants, many volunteers, and loads of cheering spectators.

We will be keeping the basic blueprint of this fun community event the same and are eager to add a few features. This year, we are proud to announce that we will be following the Boston Marathon’s lead to be more environmentally-friendly—our race is “GOING GREEN”! We will recycle everything we can, we will use all leftover materials from races past, and we are encouraging participants to walk/carpool to the race and to register online to reduce paper usage.
